Cisco Network Academy
Red River now provides frontline support services for Cisco Academy instructors – from training, certifications and professional development to all aspects of the curriculum, Learning Management System, lab exercises, equipment and other resources. This includes utilizing our managed services and three Network Operations Centers (NOC) to provide first call support. Cisco Network Academy course offerings include networking, network programmability, cybersecurity, IT Essentials (A+), Python, LINUX, C, C++, Internet of Things, Security and entrepreneurship.
Red River Education & Training includes more than 200 high schools, community colleges and four-year institutions in nine states and regions, including California, New England, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. This also includes providing the training faculty that instructs 15,000+ students.

Model Driven Programmability Workshop
(no charge-included in your support fee).
This 8-hour workshop introduces device level programmability competencies that can be used to automate network configuration and management tasks. It utilizes standardized YANG device models and the RESTCONF and NETCONF device level APIs. We recommend this workshop as a supplement to CCNA 3 v7 Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation.

IT Essentials covers fundamental computer and career skills for entry-level IT jobs. Students apply skills and procedures to install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, and software. Please email for more details.
IoT: Connecting Things
This highly hands-on course introduces how to securely interconnect sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, single-board computers, and cloud services over Internet Protocol (IP) networks to create an end-to-end IoT system. Please email for more details.
The DevNet Associate course introduces the methodologies and tools of modern software development, applied to the IT and Network operations. It covers a 360 view of the domain including microservices, testing, containers and DevOps, as well as securely automating infrastructures with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Students completing this course, gain practical, relevant, hands-on lab experience, including programming in Python, using GIT and common data formats (JSON, XML and YAML), deploying applications as containers, using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automating infrastructure using code. The course prepares students for entry-level software development and infrastructure automation jobs and prepares them for the DevNet Associate certification exam. Please email for more details.
The CyberOps Associate teaches core security skills needed for monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing, and responding to security events, thus protecting systems and organizations from cybersecurity risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Students will learn cybersecurity operations network principles, roles, and responsibilities as well as the related technologies, tools, regulations, and frameworks available. The course prepares students for entry-level jobs such as Associate Security Analyst and Incident Responder, and prepares them for the CyberOps Associate certification exam.
