Acquisition Strengthens Red River’s Position as Leading Technology Integrator

BOSTON and CLAREMONT, N.HOctober 26, 2016 – New Hampshire-based Red River, a leading technology integrator, announced today that it has acquired Boston-based Accunet Solutions, an established systems integration and IT consulting services provider. The acquisition accelerates Red River’s commitment to helping its customers optimize business processes, capitalize on cloud computing and maximize the value of technology investments, particularly within the commercial/enterprise market.

“Red River highly respects the technical competencies, industry knowledge and personalized service Accunet is well-known for,” said Rick Bolduc, Executive Chairman BOD and CEO of Red River. “We strongly believe that combining our complementary resources, technical expertise, infrastructure, strategic partnerships and managed services will provide our customers with expanded capabilities and expertise to take on new challenges, especially within healthcare, life sciences and financial sectors, where Accunet has truly excelled.”

Red River expands its operations and geographic footprint with the addition of the Accunet team, resources and offices in Boston and Rochester, N.Y., as well as sales and engineering coverage from Maine to Florida and southern California. Accunet’s experienced sales and engineering team, data center practice and partnership portfolio will be consolidated with Red River’s. Accunet’s proven healthcare and life sciences experience and growing Federal practice, with a strong focus on the National Institutes of Health, dovetails with Red River’s own demonstrated expertise within the Federal landscape and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

“Accunet is excited to merge with Red River as we’re at a crossroads in our company’s growth,” said Alan Dumas, Founder and President of Accunet. “By joining with Red River, we can quickly scale our infrastructure, management team, corporate structure, services organization and solutions offerings to better meet the needs of our customers. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this transaction. Accunet Solutions and Red River are far stronger together than we were when operating as separate companies.

Over the past five years, Red River has steadily increased annual revenues, expanded its geographic footprint, headcount and customer base, earned multiple OEM awards and has overseen a strategic yet substantial expansion of its contract portfolio, which is valued at more than $75 Billion. The company excels in modernizing infrastructure for government agencies, particularly in the cloud computing and cloud services arenas, and has an advanced Managed Services practice to ensure customers get the most from their technology investments. Red River recently distinguished itself as a leading Cisco Partner by earning three coveted awards at the 2016 Cisco Partner Summit, including Americas Public Sector Federal Civilian Agency Partner of the Year, Federal Service Partner of the Year, and Architectural Excellence – Enterprise Networking Partner of the Year. The company also recently achieved SOC 2 Type 1 Certification, ensuring the highest levels of security and availability to its enterprise customers.
